“A Brilliant Performance”
Redcar Cadet, LCpl Daniel Loader, a member of Cleveland ACF, had gone over to France with his Dad, for the memorial events early in June, and had even taken his cadet uniform to wear when paying his respects. He was swiftly spotted by The Yorkshire Regiment and included in their group, and was ‘roped’ in to help with events.
The photographs show Daniel giving ”a brilliant performance” presenting HM Ambassador to Paris, Dame Menna Rawlings, with her wreath at the Bayeaux Commonwealth War Cemetery on 6 June, helping out at the DDay events, and with the Colonel of The Yorkshire Regiment, Brigadier Zac Stenning OBE, at the British Normandy Memorial. Well done Daniel and certainly a trip to remember.
